COFCO Grain Valley Holdings Co., Ltd. is a specialized company under COFCO Group engaged in the processing, trade, and sales of rice, flour, and beer raw materials. It is an integral part of COFCO Group's core businesses in grain, oil, cotton, and sugar industries. COFCO Grain Valley undertakes the primary responsibilities of ensuring national grain security, implementing macroeconomic regulation of grain, and ensuring food safety and product supply. Its various businesses hold leading positions within the domestic industry.

COFCO Grain Valley inherits several of COFCO Group's longest-standing businesses, with its rice business dating back to 1952, boasting over 70 years of history. Today, COFCO Grain Valley has evolved into a full-industry-chain food enterprise, spanning from field to table. It operates 43 industry-leading and internationally top-tier modern agricultural processing bases nationwide. Annually, it processes 5.13 million tons of paddy rice, 7.71 million tons of wheat, 830,000 tons of barley, and 240,000 tons of noodles, all maintaining leading positions in their respective industries.

To the TTX & COFCO Grain Valley Project Team:

The COFCO Grain Valley WMS project, a pivotal initiative in the digital transformation of grain logistics, has involved comprehensive planning for the upgrade and renovation of warehouse systems across 45 COFCO Grain Valley factories. In addition to various types of warehouse operations, the project required integration with multiple systems such as SAP, the One Card Park Management System, TMS, RFID, and the Automated Warehouse Control System (WCS). As a result, senior leadership at Grain Valley headquarters has placed high expectations and demands on the project. Since its inception, through collaborative efforts between the TTX WMS project team and our departments, COFCO (Zhengzhou) Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd. successfully went live on June 13, 2023!

Under the leadership of the project manager, TTX's team overcame challenges during implementation and successfully completed the adaptation and transformation of domestic databases. They achieved the expected outcomes in functionalities such as the inbound and outbound management of raw materials, auxiliary materials, spare parts, and finished products, earning recognition from internal staff at the Zhengzhou factory.

The successful launch of WMS at COFCO (Zhengzhou) Grain and Oil Industry Co., Ltd. marks the first step in the digital transformation of grain storage and logistics for this project.
