BOTANEE and TTX joined forces to create a digital supply chain middle platform

This collaboration between winona and TTX is really a tag team. As the backbone of the industry's leading digital supply chain, the OMS of TTX software is recognized by more and more industry leaders.

In 2010, BOTANEE, dedicated to creating a skin health ecosystem in China, discovered the key to caring for sensitive skin for Chinese people. Leveraging the abundant plant resources in Yunnan, they selected various plants for active ingredient extraction and efficacy research, ultimately giving birth to WINONA, a functional skincare brand focused on sensitive skin.

Over the years, WINONA has consistently provided scientific, precise, and easy-to-understand solutions for sensitive skin problems for Chinese people. Its professional product strength and academic achievements have established a market image of being "professional" and "focused on sensitive skin care" within just a few years. As early as 2015, WINONA was the only invited Chinese brand to appear at the 23rd World Congress of Dermatology in Vancouver, breaking new ground for Chinese brands and attracting widespread attention from dermatologists and scholars worldwide. Today, it holds 80 valid patents and 11 core technologies, with accumulated academic resources forming a highly competitive professional barrier.

From 2018 to 2021, during the Double Eleven shopping festival, WINONA was the only Chinese brand to rank among the top ten in the Tmall beauty and skincare category for four consecutive years. In the recently concluded 618 shopping festival, WINONA ranked in the top eight on the Tmall beauty list, once again being the only domestic brand to make the list. This dark horse in the skincare industry has quietly grown into a benchmark brand in the sensitive skin segment, continuously building the strongest "defensive line" in Chinese beauty with professionalism and technology.

Behind this massive sales volume lies the sweetest pressure on the supply chain and logistics. The influx of countless fragmented orders from across the country presents a huge challenge for coordinated operations across departments, including sales order processing, customer service, logistics allocation and distribution efficiency, and financial reconciliation.

To face the challenge head-on, BOTANEE decisively decided to upgrade its order management system and collaborated with TTX to create the OFS (Order Fulfillment System) digital supply chain platform. This platform system not only oversees the entire lifecycle of products, from warehousing to orders, returns, and shipping, managing master data, orders, and inventory comprehensively, but also focuses on the characteristics of the beauty and personal care industry. It adapts to the integration of multi-warehouse, multi-channel, and multi-layer inventory structures to achieve more efficient end-to-end order fulfillment and enhance consumer satisfaction.

As we know, major consumer brands can only go live with new operating systems from February to May and from July to September each year. Other times are occupied by the 618 shopping festival and Double Eleven shopping festival, not to mention the additional challenge of the pandemic. Going live with a complex online omnichannel core system within such a short time frame is an enormous challenge.

Under the leadership of Director Wu Yihong, the TTX project team withstood the dual pressures of the pandemic and tight project timelines. They began implementation on March 7 this year and completed the system switch for WINONA's exclusive stores by April 27. On May 16, they completed the switch for WINONA's Tmall flagship store, and by May 17, they had transitioned stores on up to 12 major platforms, including Douyin, Kuaishou, and Pinduoduo.

WINONA commented on the collaboration with TTX: "The TTX project team completed the complex and demanding system switch in such a short time, efficiently ensuring the successful transition of the core operating system before the major sales events. This is no easy feat. It would be very difficult to achieve this without professional products, a mature team, and a dedicated spirit that prioritizes customer needs."

"TTX's OFS directly interfaces with upper-level systems, including e-commerce platforms, self-developed platforms, product platforms, inventory platforms, and multiple external WMS systems, achieving dual-control of actual and logical inventory management. Functions that previously required extensive manual control or manual operations for a large number of order fulfillment processes are now automated, greatly reducing the workload, improving efficiency, and significantly decreasing the dependency on operational experience. Moreover, the system can adapt to BOTANEE's relatively complex business environment through flexible and configurable programs and nodes."

Finally, the WINONA project team urged TTX to continue ensuring the transition of other stores and optimizing system functionality details, while also preparing for the Double Eleven sales event to achieve precise and efficient operations and maintenance requirements.

The collaboration between WINONA and TTX is a prime example of a strong partnership. As a leading digital supply chain platform in the industry, TTX's OFS is increasingly recognized by top clients across various sectors.

The following data highlights the impact of the project: During the implementation period of the WINONA project, TTX helped the client complete 64 operational function optimizations, 60 operational and product guidance sessions, and multiple training sessions. They optimized and simplified 92 operational points for the client.
