SORL has partnered with TTX to successfully implement the lean warehouse management project for the central warehouse recently
The new development plan has set higher requirements for SORL's supply chain collaboration and lean management. The New Ruili Auto Parts Chain Platform has been continuously working to accelerate the construction of the supply chain. Last year, it partnered with TTX to help establish an efficient, collaborative, safe, and controllable smart supply chain system.
SORL was founded in 1987 and currently owns more than 20 wholly-owned, controlling, and joint-stock enterprises spanning manufacturing and service industries.
Ruili has been successively named as one of China's Top 100 Auto Parts Enterprises, a national export base for auto parts, a key high-tech enterprise under the National Torch Program, a national intellectual property demonstration enterprise, one of China's Top 500 Private Enterprises, one of Zhejiang Province's Top 100 Manufacturing Enterprises, a leading enterprise in Zhejiang Province's industrial sector, an innovative leader in Zhejiang Province, a backbone enterprise in Zhejiang Province's high-end equipment manufacturing industry, a pilot enterprise for cultivating talent ("Three Names") in Zhejiang Province, and an advanced unit in Zhejiang Province's "Focus on Talent" initiative.
On July 1, 2020, Ruili announced a new strategic development plan — the "Auto Parts" + "Chain Store" dual-drive strategy. The New Ruili Auto Parts Chain Platform officially set sail.
The new development plan has raised higher requirements for SORL in areas such as supply chain collaboration and lean management. The New Ruili Auto Parts Chain Platform has been making continuous efforts to accelerate the construction of the supply chain. Last year, it partnered with TTX to help establish an efficient, collaborative, safe, and controllable smart supply chain system.
It is reported that TTX recently successfully implemented a lean warehouse management project for New Ruili, covering an area of 200,000 square meters!
In this project, TTX's Warehouse Management System (WMS) connects multiple ERP systems to help New Ruili achieve interconnected business data and visual tracking throughout the business process, enhancing supply chain responsiveness. TTX also provides New Ruili with warehouse planning and management solutions, achieving refined management within the warehouse. Integration with PDA and other automated devices, along with features like automatic alert judgment and order auto-routing, helps the warehouse operate paperlessly, improving operational efficiency and accuracy.
Next, the solutions from the central warehouse will be replicated and promoted nationwide. We believe that TTX's professional technology and services will accelerate SORL's digital transformation.
