Fiberhome joins hands with TTX to strengthen the digital supply chain infrastructure and inject new momentum into the communications industry
To meet Fiberhome’s needs, TTX provided a comprehensive supply chain management solution comprising WMS (Warehouse Management System), OMS (Order Management System), TMS (Transportation Management System), and BMS (Billing Management System) for its overseas sales network. This solution supports the development of a digital supply chain platform, enabling key capabilities such as cross-border, cross-organization, and multi-channel inventory integration, warehouse-transport collaboration, and data visualization—driving the intelligent upgrade of Fiberhome’s supply chain.

Fiberhome Telecommunication Technologies Co., Ltd. (Fiberhome), founded in 1999, is the world’s only scientific research and industrial entity that integrates the three core strategic technologies of optical communications—optical communication systems, optical fiber and cable, and optoelectronic devices. The company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2001. With a workforce of 15,000 employees, Fiberhome has established production bases and R&D centers in Southeast Asia, South America, and Europe. Its products and services span over 100 countries and regions, serving a global population of 4 billion. In 2023, the company’s total assets exceeded RMB 40 billion, with revenue surpassing RMB 30 billion. Overseas revenue accounted for over 30% of the total, earning Fiberhome a place on the 2024 Fortune China 500 list.
As a typical discrete manufacturing enterprise, Fiberhome faces challenges such as highly customized orders, complex production processes, and diverse workflows. Meanwhile, a rapidly changing external environment and continuous business growth have imposed higher demands on efficient supply chain collaboration. To improve order fulfillment efficiency and optimize its cost structure, Fiberhome has launched a comprehensive digital transformation strategy, requiring a complete and efficient digital supply chain management system to support its global operations.
To meet Fiberhome’s needs, TTX provided a full suite of supply chain management solutions for its overseas sales operations, including WMS (Warehouse Management System), OMS (Order Management System), TMS (Transportation Management System), and BMS (Billing Management System). These solutions are designed to help Fiberhome build a digital supply chain platform with core capabilities such as cross-border, cross-organization, and multi-channel inventory integration, warehouse-transport collaboration, and data visualization—driving the intelligent upgrade of its supply chain. Since 2022, the OTWB system suite has been piloted at Fiberhome International’s subsidiary in the Philippines.

In the Philippine market, leveraging the strategic locations of the Manila and Cebu ports, Fiberhome has established a complex warehousing network that includes regional central warehouses, front warehouses for maintenance support, and front warehouses for general contracting projects. However, the traditional systems operated independently, and management resources were fragmented, resulting in low collaboration efficiency. Through the deployment of the four system modules—OMS, WMS, TMS, and BMS—TTX successfully integrated various business units and upstream/downstream systems, restructured business processes, eliminated operational silos, and achieved end-to-end collaborative management from order creation, warehouse processing, outbound shipment, and transportation tracking to settlement.
The OMS categorizes and streamlines different types of orders, optimizing their flow. Combined with full-process material tracking and serial number management, it enables traceability of materials and ensures supply chain transparency.
The WMS enables refined management across all warehouse levels, achieving global inventory visibility. With its multi-dimensional virtual warehouse management capabilities, it not only covers in-warehouse inventory but also supports synchronized management of in-transit and supplier inventories. The WMS replaces traditional offline ledgers through inventory batch number (carton/pallet number) tracking, enabling system-based automated allocation and significantly improving picking efficiency. The use of system-generated label codes enhances paperless operations and accuracy. Additionally, the WMS integrates with the OMS for automatic sourcing and transfer task generation, improving turnover efficiency and reducing manual intervention.

The TMS system enables visualized vehicle management by combining GPS positioning with map overlays, allowing real-time tracking of vehicle locations and preventing the issue of “lost” vehicles. Based on project and delivery requirements, TMS automatically consolidates orders and plans optimal transportation routes, improving vehicle utilization and transportation efficiency. For engineering orders, TMS further enhances technician dispatch management by generating optimal installation routes, ensuring efficient task execution. Additionally, the TMS mobile app records transportation milestones in real time and integrates with the WMS to automatically trigger warehouse appointments, enabling online tracking of shipment status and reducing manual operation costs.
The BMS system automates complex billing scenarios commonly seen in overseas operations—such as secondary transportation fees and customs clearance charges—by configuring billing rules. This meets the cost control needs of international business and improves financial management efficiency.
This digital supply chain upgrade has delivered remarkable results, significantly strengthening Fiberhome’s supply chain resilience:
Warehouse operation efficiency increased by 30%, with optimized inventory management and reduced material loss
Delivery efficiency improved by over 50%, with end-to-end process optimization and full digitalization
Paperless operations enhanced accuracy and reduced input errors and communication costs
Optimized labor costs led to higher employee satisfaction, lower turnover rates, and improved service quality
The solution has now been fully rolled out across the Philippines and will gradually be expanded globally. Looking ahead, as Fiberhome continues to grow its international presence, TTX’s digital supply chain management solution will deliver even greater value—helping Fiberhome set a new benchmark for supply chain excellence in the global telecommunications industry and contributing valuable experience to the industry's digital transformation journey.
