Hualian Porcelain Partners with TTX to Build a New Foundation for Smart Warehousing in Ceramic Manufacturing
Huaci Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 001216) is a specialized ceramic group integrating the design, R&D, manufacturing, and sales of ceramic products, and is recognized as one of the representative enterprises in China’s daily-use ceramics industry. The company owns three well-known Chinese trademarks—“Hualian,” “Hongguanyao,” and “Torch”—and has established a national-level enterprise technology center. Its products and services are distributed across more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, with an annual production capacity exceeding 140 million pieces of daily-use ceramics.
Over the course of its long-term development, Hualian Porcelain has gradually formed a diversified and large-scale business structure. Hongguanyao liquor ware serves leading Chinese liquor brands such as Kweichow Moutai and Wuliangye; its electrical porcelain business supplies global Fortune 500 customers including State Grid, ABB, and CRRC; and its daily-use ceramics maintain long-term partnerships with international brands such as IKEA, Walmart, Starbucks, and Williams-Sonoma. The coexistence of multiple business models and diverse customer types has placed higher demands on the coordination capability, responsiveness, and refined management of the company’s supply chain and warehousing systems.
With the official launch of the “314 New Quality Productivity Information Logistics Automated Warehouse” project, Hualian Porcelain has reached a critical stage in upgrading its warehousing and logistics systems while advancing smart manufacturing. Under the operational landscape of multiple organizations, factories, and warehouses running simultaneously, traditional warehouse management approaches can no longer meet requirements such as inventory coordination, integration with automated equipment, and refined traceability. As a result, introducing a professional, stable, and scalable logistics information management system has become an inevitable step.
Against this backdrop, Hualian Porcelain has partnered with TTX to implement TTX’s Warehouse Management System (WMS), enabling unified planning and digital management of warehousing operations across the entire group. The TTX WMS provides centralized control over multiple organizations and warehouses, delivering real-time visibility of inventory data and coordinated scheduling. This helps effectively reduce overall inventory levels while minimizing communication costs and operational friction during inter-organization and inter-warehouse transfers.
At the system integration level, the TTX WMS will be connected with multiple existing business systems within Hualian Porcelain, enabling seamless data integration and coordinated workflows while ensuring consistency in business data standards. At the same time, the system will be deeply integrated with the WCS (Warehouse Control System), coordinating the operation of automated equipment such as four-way shuttle AS/RS systems and AGVs. This integration establishes a unified control and execution framework for both warehouse operations and equipment scheduling, significantly enhancing the overall intelligence level of warehouse operations.
Focusing on the core operational scenarios of ceramic manufacturing, the TTX WMS will also provide targeted functional support. For example, within the centralized glazing warehouse, the system covers key processes such as raw material inbound, material transfer to silos, and post-ball-milling warehouse allocation, enabling complete batch data capture and end-to-end traceability. In the packaging process, the system can generate packaging plans based on bulk ceramic BOMs and packaging BOMs, automatically allocate inventory for bulk ceramics and packaging materials, and rhythmically drive the supply of bulk ceramics from the four-way shuttle automated warehouse to the packaging line. This enables automated and unmanned management of material flow in the packaging process while maintaining refined control over inbound and outbound packaging data, providing reliable support for production and sales decision-making.
In addition, the TTX WMS supports multi-language capabilities and rapid replication deployment, leaving ample room for Hualian Porcelain’s overseas expansion. During the development of overseas warehouses, such as the Vietnam factory, new warehouse systems can be implemented quickly based on proven templates, ensuring consistency in management logic and data standards between overseas operations and domestic systems.
Looking ahead, TTX will continue leveraging its professional WMS solutions and reliable delivery capabilities to help Hualian Porcelain strengthen its digital warehousing and logistics foundation, supporting the company’s steady development in high-end manufacturing and global expansion.
