Strong Partnership: MinebeaMitsumi (Shanghai) Trading Joins Hands with TTX Software to Upgrade Intelligent Transportation Management System
MinebeaMitsumi (Shanghai) Trading has partnered with TTX Software to launch a TMS system, upgrading its intelligent transportation management capabilities, breaking down data silos, addressing management pain points, and driving cost reduction and operational efficiency improvement.
Founded in Japan in 1951, MinebeaMitsumi began as Japan’s first manufacturer of miniature bearings. Since establishing its first wholly owned production base in China in 1994, the group has continuously expanded its presence in the Chinese market, successfully making China one of its key global manufacturing hubs. As of March 2023, the group has established 16 factories and 2 technology centers across Shanghai, Suzhou, Zhuhai, Qingdao, and other cities, with sales branches covering 17 cities nationwide.
As a globally leading manufacturer of ultra-precision components, MinebeaMitsumi has long focused on core sectors including bearings, motors, connectors, semiconductors, and sensors. Its products are widely applied across major industries such as photovoltaics, energy storage, data centers, rail transportation, robotics, industrial manufacturing, home appliances, healthcare, transportation equipment, and automotive manufacturing, earning strong market recognition through superior product quality.
With the continuous expansion of its business operations in China, MinebeaMitsumi (Shanghai) Trading has placed higher demands on transportation coordination efficiency, logistics service capabilities, and supply chain visibility management. At the same time, the coexistence of multiple factories, transfer centers, and end customers, combined with diversified transportation methods, has significantly increased the complexity of transportation management. To address these challenges, the company partnered with TTX Software to launch a transportation management digitalization upgrade project. Leveraging the TTX TMS transportation management system, the project aims to build an integrated transportation collaboration platform covering multiple locations, multiple roles, and diverse business scenarios, effectively resolving operational pain points.

Through this collaboration, TTX Software closely aligned its solution with the complex transportation scenarios of MinebeaMitsumi (Shanghai) Trading’s manufacturing supply chain, establishing a unified transportation management platform connecting the company, 3PL providers, and end customers. The platform enables end-to-end online and transparent transportation management. TTX’s TMS system will seamlessly integrate with the ISAS sales order system and the 3PL WMS warehouse management system, breaking down data barriers among orders, warehousing, and transportation operations, while enabling efficient collaboration and real-time information sharing across the transportation network.
At the transportation planning level, TTX Software established a unified order resource pool for MinebeaMitsumi (Shanghai) Trading. Centered around key milestones such as “latest shipment time” and “customer expected arrival time,” the system introduces an integrated transportation planning mechanism to significantly improve centralized dispatch efficiency and transportation resource coordination. Meanwhile, to accommodate different customers’ personalized logistics requirements, the system also builds a standardized service requirement pool, further enhancing transportation service responsiveness and delivery stability, ultimately helping improve customer satisfaction.
To support the company’s highly complex and diversified transportation scenarios, TTX’s TMS system fully supports pickup, delivery, multiple transportation modes, multiple billing models, and cross-location collaborative management. The system enables full transportation process traceability, transportation cost structure analysis, and 3PL performance evaluation, helping MinebeaMitsumi (Shanghai) Trading gradually establish a more transparent, refined, and continuously optimized transportation operation system that drives both cost reduction and operational efficiency improvement.
The successful launch of the TTX TMS project for MinebeaMitsumi (Shanghai) Trading not only demonstrates the strong recognition of TTX’s products and service capabilities by a multinational high-end manufacturing enterprise, but also represents another benchmark case of TTX Software delivering highly adaptable and customized supply chain solutions for multinational corporations. Moving forward, TTX will continue to deepen its expertise in digital and intelligent supply chain transformation, empowering manufacturing enterprises to optimize their supply chain systems through professional technologies and high-quality services, and jointly building a lean, efficient, and intelligent logistics ecosystem.
